Your day of training will follow this schedule:

• 8:30 am - 11:30 am BCTF Training

• 11:30 am - 12:15 pm Lunch Break

• 12:15 pm - 3:00 pm Local Agenda

BCTF Training - Role and Function of the Staff Rep – 8:30-11:30am

Objective

• to determine the role and function of the staff rep.

• to become familiar with the format and content of the provincial and local collective agreement.

• to identify where can I go for help.

• to identify my role in the staff rep network and how can I support my local.

STA Rookie - Meet our Table Officers and Q and A - 12:15 – 3:00 pm

• 12:15 - 1:00pm – Presidents

• 1:00 - 1:30pm – Grievance Officers

• 1:30 – 2:00pm – Professional Develop and Services Officer

• 2:00 – 2:30 – Health and Safety Officer and Accommodations Officer

• 2:30 – 2:45 – Communications/Office Manager (TBA)
